Terms of use

1. What CareerOS is

CareerOS provides software and services for your career: job-search tools (resume tailoring, a knowledge graph of your experience, a pipeline, interview practice), free learning paths, AI counselling sessions, and programmes delivered by people.

2. No guarantees about jobs

We provide advisory, educational and mentorship services. We do not promise or guarantee a job, an interview, a placement, a salary or any other financial outcome. Counselling reports and AI-generated material are guidance for you to judge, not professional, legal or financial advice.

3. Your account

• Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One free counselling sample per person. Creating extra accounts to get more is not allowed.
• You must be 18 or older, or use CareerOS with the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Payments

• Prices are shown in Indian rupees. Where a price says “+ GST”, 18% GST is added at checkout; the amount you pay is shown before you pay.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details.
• Counselling time must be used within its validity period (30 days, or 60 days for the 3-hour session). Refunds follow the refund policy.

5. Your content

Your resumes, documents, conversations and reports are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you, including with the AI providers and voice service described in the privacy policy. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no attempts to access other people’s data, to overload or disrupt the service, to resell it, or to use it to make false claims to employers.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under Indian consumer law.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; we will say so on this page and, for significant changes, by email. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
