Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and password (stored by Amazon Cognito, never in plain text).
• What you add: resumes, documents, job postings, contacts, notes, and your learning-path progress.
• Counselling: the transcript of each conversation and the report built from it. We do not keep the audio; ElevenLabs, which runs the voice, processes it and keeps it only as its own policy and our account settings allow.
• Payments: what you bought, the amount and Razorpay’s payment reference. Never card or bank details.
• Enquiries and applications you send us, including a résumé if you attach one.
• Basic technical logs (time, page, errors), kept for 30 days to run and secure the service.

Why

Only to provide CareerOS to you: to tailor your resumes, run your counselling sessions and write your report, track your progress, process payments, reply to you, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Amazon Web Services (Mumbai region): hosting, database, file storage and email.
• ElevenLabs: runs the voice counsellor. Your voice goes directly from your browser to ElevenLabs during a session.
• Razorpay: payments.
• The AI model providers you connect (for example Google, Anthropic or OpenAI), for the documents you choose to process.

Colleges

If you join a college cohort with its code, the college sees totals for the cohort only, and nothing until enough students have taken part. It never sees your report, transcript or documents. Leaving the cohort stops this at once.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. Ask us to close your account (below) and we delete your data within 30 days, apart from payment records we must keep for tax and accounting law.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hi@sgconsultingtech.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
